Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution
Together with our Consortium partners and Government we have the total capability and capacity to analyse the Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution infrastructure of a developing country and establish the appropriate plant and solutions that will resolve any present and future power issues. Having established the sources and types of power, carry out the feasibility studies in respect of power provision (both On grid and Off grid) and provide a “Bankable Feasibility Study” with which can be used to establish funding for the necessary projects.

Our study could also investigate taking full advantage of the residual benefits provided by such power facilities for use in water production desalination plants and downstream building materials production plants. In addition, we would also investigate further beneficial innovative downstream processes. These downstream activities, by integration into the power study, will provide additional economic and employment benefits for the country.

Our Consortium partners are one of the UK’s leading specialists in the Transmission and Distribution of Electricity and they would undertake the associated studies which are invariably necessary, in addition to the power generation feasibility study.

This section of any study would involve:

Study of current loads & generation capacity in the country or region
Network capacity, reliability & security
Options for increasing capacity of existing lines
Connecting distributed generation – long lines, control, protection, fault levels, stability
Review legislation and licensing for IPPs & use of system charging
